It does feel like the Facebook generation has found its Bon Jovi and media outlets are starting to take notice. TMZ.com, famous for dishing on Britney Spears and the rest of Hollywood’s happenings, found time to mention a Jay-Z and Nicole Scherzinger spotting at Tokio Hotel’s Roxy gig.

Miley Cyrus to Host CMT Awards

 

Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray are set to host the 2008 CMT Music Awards to be held on April 14 from Belmont University’s Curb Event Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Scheduled to perform on the awards night are Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Sugarland and Toby Keith. What – no ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ from Billy Ray?! Oh well, I’m sure Miley will find something for him to do as she whores it up in front of the cameras.

In other Miley news, Disney also announced that the ‘Hannah Montana’ movie will shoot in Tennessee and Los Angeles with a scheduled release date of May 1, 2009.

Madonna Gets Leaked

Madonna and Justin Timberlake’s collaboration ‘4 Minutes to Save the World’ has leaked and is making the rounds all over the internet. And as people say, don’t believe the hype. I’m disappointed really. You can barely hear Madonna singing because the song is all about the beats and it overpowers the whole thing. The melody is completely sacrificed and I can’t even determine where the chorus is. And those darn horns repeating on a loop – it’s so annoying! The song sounds more like something from one of Gwen Stefani’s solo albums. It’s ironic because Gwen has been vocal about how she’s been inspired mostly by Madonna. Sorry Madonna, not even golden boy Justin could give you a hit. I’m just not digging the song. Maybe it will grow on me.

Fergie Fears Revealing All About Secret Wedding Plans

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie wants to keep all details about her future wedding to Josh Duhamel secret – but fears her own loose tongue will let her down.

The singer and her actor fiance announced their engagement on Christmas Day (25Dec07), and although she’s yet to start planning her nuptials, Fergie isn’t sure if she can keep from spilling the secrets herself.

She says, “I’m thrilled. But I’m not giving any details – I think the fine points are sacred.

“But it’s hard for me because I have a big mouth”.

Britney Spears Denies Adnan Pregnancy Claims

Britney Spears has denied claims that she is pregnant by on/off boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib.

The British snapper has supposedly been bragging to pals that his the troubled singer is expecting his baby.

However, insiders say that Brit’s tummy bulge is the result of a change in her medication.

A source close to the singer tells The Sun: “Britney has put on weight because the doctors have switched her prescription.”

Friends of David Archuleta Speak on American Idol Favorite

MTV recently traveled to Murray, Utah, in order to speak with those who knew David Archuleta in high school.Here’s how a few friends of the American Idol favorite described the adorable 17-year old:

• Kellene Kim, a friend and classmate at Murray High, said she called Archuleta “Lettuce Boy.” The reason?

“David has a tendency to not really listen, ’cause he kinda likes to sing to himself,” Kim explained. “We were sitting around, just hanging out, talking about how someone had found a bug in their lettuce from a fast-food place, and [David] tunes in. He heard us, and he’s like, ‘What? But I love lettuce!’ And so now we call him ‘lettuce boy.’ ”

• Mietra Aarabi told MTV News: “Music is David’s life and always has been. When he’s talking in just normal conversation, if anything reminds him of a song, he just starts randomly singing.”
